Welcome New Executive Director Jim Bouldin
The Hilliker YMCA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of its new Executive Director, James E. Bouldin. Jim brings to the Hilliker Y 21 years of progressive YMCA experience, with 17 of those years serving as Executive Director at various branches of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and most recently the YMCA of Florida's First Coast. Throughout his career, Jim has received several certifications from the YMCA of the USA and has demonstrated strong leadership ability.
Jim looks forward to continuing to be an advocate for the YMCA vision while increasing awareness in our community, and he comments, "As the Executive Director of the Hilliker YMCA I will lead the Y to new heights. Our staff will be trained to provide the best member services possible and our wellness staff, child care staff, and program staff will receive the most current trainings. Member satisfaction surveys and focus groups will ensure we are meeting the needs of our members. We will collaborate with service organizations, churches and other groups in order to serve the community at large - infants and seniors and all ages in between - through mission driven programs. I envision the Y being the hub of the community where families, groups and organizations can conduct their meetings and programs in a fun and safe environment. I look forward to getting settled in the community and growing the Hilliker YMCA."
Board president, Terry Stolly, said “We are very fortunate that Jim will lead the Hilliker Y. He has proven through his career to be fully committed to the mission of the Y: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.” Jim's first day at the Hilliker Y was February 20.
